AccessMedicine and AccessEmergency Medicine from the publisher McGraw Hill are available via the Austin Library website. Access is available for Austin Health staff and students (students onsite access only).
These collections contain online textbooks, multimedia libraries, case files, drug databases, self-assessment tools and much more. Go to the tabs on the left of this page for detailed information about each collection.
From the landing page you can select any of the 'Access' Collections under Austin Health Available Sites.
When using any of the 'Access' Collections you can quickly switch from one to another. Go to the black menu bar at the top of the page, select the drop down triangle next to 'McGRAW HILL ACCESS' and choose a collection from our subscription.
With a MyAccess Profile you can bookmark favourites, create folders, browse recently viewed content, download images to slides (with citations included), work through cases, take quizzes for self-assessment and receive alerts about new content.
You only need to create one MyAccess Profile. In this profile you can manage content from all 'Access' Collections.

You can earn CME points when using certain resources in AccessMedicine and AccessEmergency Medicine.

The Library space is available 24/7 to Austin Health and Mercy Heidelberg staff and students. Use your security card for access. Library staff are available Mon-Fri 8.30am-5pm except Vic. public holidays.
