Austin Health Library Opening Hours24/7 access to the Austin Health Library space is available for Austin Health and Mercy Heidelberg staff and students using their Austin swipe card.
The Library bookroom is open Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5.00pm (closed public holidays).
Library staff are also available during those times. Library members, contact the Library if you would like to borrow a book outside bookroom opening hours.
The Library is not available to patients or the public.

From the Austin Hospital main entrance on level 1 take the lift to level 4.
Take a sharp right turn out of the lift and proceed along the corridor which starts directly to the right of the lifts.
Follow the signs to the Lance Townsend Building.
The Library entrance will be on your left. Look overhead for the Health Sciences Library sign.
We are opposite the John Lindell lecture theatre.

We appreciate your feedback and suggestions for our Library service.
The Library is a welcoming space for all Austin and Mercy Heidelberg staff and students. Study desks, relaxing couch areas, frequent displays and historical collections are all available, 24/7. See the tabs on the left for further details about room and booth bookings, printing, computers and wifi.
Please note that food is not allowed to be consumed in the Library (drinks are permitted). Water refill stations are located in CEU.
Seating and small tables to eat at are located in front of the lifts in the Harold Stokes Building (to the left when leaving the Library) or other areas located throughout the Austin campus - Austin Hospital Staff break areas map (Austin access only).
Toilets are located next to the John Lindell Theatre, which is directly opposite the Library.
The Book Room holds our comprehensive print collection. It is open Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5.00pm. This room is also a group study area where you can meet with your colleagues for study and quiet discussion. This room cannot be booked.
Library members, contact the Library if you would like to borrow at book outside book room opening hours.
The Library has a small charging station for mobile devices located amongst the quick access computers, to the right when you enter the Library (directly under the clock).
We also have headphones and phone and computer chargers available for short-term loan. Please ask at the front desk.
